No Bake Chocolate Cake For One Or Two Recipe

Posted on May 16, 2009 at 11:22 PM

I recieved this recipe in an email as a forward and was at first suspicious of making it because I though. "A microwavable Home Made from Scratch cake in 3 minutes.... no there has to be a catch."  But no there isn't one. Just as long as you use all of the ingridients and do what it says it will work good for you. I tried it and it worked great. It was good. My first try I seen it and thought that it wasn't done all the way so I put it back in the microwave a bit longer. That was a mistake. It overcooked it and made it hard. I also used Hot Chocolate Mix instead of Cocoa Powder. But it was ok just not a dark color like in the picture below. It tasted alright with the Hot Chocolate Mix but try it with both for yourself and see which one tastes better for you. Remember when you are microwaving it and the 3 minutes are up poke the top with a fork or knife gently. If it seems a bit runny to you then put it back in for another 30 seconds or untill a little firmer. Remember do not over cook because Microwaves have a tendency of making things hard if you overcook. Also what you see at the top of the mug will be the bottom of the cake. So it may look a little funny. I hope you enjoy making this and doctoring it up for your own liking. HINT:: I added Caramel on top of mine.    Enjoy.
